Zac Whitmore - Philosophy Student

Zac Whitmore, a philosophy major at UVU, is President for the Provo Bicycle Collective and Chair for the Provo Bicycle Committee, where he is providing local residents with formal means of transportation and recreation. Working in these two organizations, Whitmore has engaged his community through organizing rides, teaching bike maintenance, leading safety training sessions, and, most recently, working with the premiere Bicycle and Pedestrian Planner in the world to conduct an analysis of Provo to implement five new bike lanes over the next five years. He is driven by his love of knowledge and the opportunity to apply that knowledge in the real world.
