rying to capture the winter-season of blading in Sweden from my own perspective, without sacrificing too much to conventions that have shaped my work in the past. I started this project with the hope of making a good 4-5 minute edit but soon clips started flowing in and as i started to shot everything inbetween the sessions this idea of a documentary/blading edit took shape in my mind.

To me it’s not realistic to assume that everyone will enjoy this and therefore the main objective has been to please my closest friends, featured within this short film & give them an insight in why I will always remember this winter like all the other good times we’ve ever had together. For me this short film symbolizes how life is what you make it as we endure winter after winter dreaming of being somewhere else, dependent on the indoor skateparks we have access to as the only escape from a country buried under snow we still make time fly and enjoy ourselves. - Zebastian Cassel
