동영상 설명

NATO’s new regional headquarters have reached the second stage of capability. International staff are now in place at sites in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria. The NATO Force Integration Units or NFIUs are based in the eastern part of the Alliance. They will help facilitate the rapid deployment of Allied forces to the region, support collective defence planning and assist in coordinating training and exercises. The roll out of the NFIUs was agreed at the Wales Summit 2014. The units are part of measures in the Readiness Action Plan, designed to provide assurance for NATO allies. Each NFIU will be manned by a total of 40 staff, half of them coming from the host nation. Footage includes shots from NFIUs in Lithuania and Romani.
